Full Moon Sagittarius: Voice Your Inner Fire

The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on Friday, June 5, invites us to stand our ground and claim our power with our inner fire.

Releasing and letting go of limitations to reach our greatest potential is the backdrop of our inner work during a Full Moon. Add eclipse season (this is the first of three in the next few weeks) to the pot, and we may experience abrupt breakthroughs, changes, or shifts that accelerates our soul's journey.

With the moon illuminated in the sign of Sagittarius, there is a calling to claim our beliefs and values in preparation for the next lunar eclipse cycle. These values include moral and ethical standards, philosophical or religious beliefs. As we define our values, we are going to want to share and speak to them under the Gemini Sun.

Mars, the Warrior, is very active during this Full Moon, bringing in this notion of finding our inner warrior and inner fire to let it shine. With the heat of firey Mars activated, intense emotions of anger and frustration could quickly spring to the surface. It is easy to think and act impulsively under Mar's influence. However, our inner warrior must learn first to listen and sit with our tension before acting.

Even though it may be uncomfortable, sitting with these emotions helps us to discover deep wisdom and truth in what is triggering the heat underneath the surface. Hug and love them for what they offer and teach us. Anger, pain, and frustration offer us wisdom as much as love and light.

We are also in the thick of retrograde season. There are currently four (soon to be five!) planets in retrograde. With this many planets in retrograde, plus eclipse season, and the Full Moon, self-care is KEY. Things may feel delayed, or the simplest tasks are harder than usual to complete. Slow down, be extra patience, and offer compassion. With Venus in retrograde, offer the same patience and compassion with others.

This eclipse season will offer you many answers to the confusion or uncertainty surfacing. Set your intention for clarity during this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse, and the universe will unfold the path.
