Hello Stargazers,
The Moon has a profound impact on our lives, both energetically and emotionally. As an astrologer, I often see how working with the Moon's phases can help us align with natural cycles, find grounding, and make meaningful shifts in our lives. I’m introducing New Moon updates to complement the Full Moon updates I’ll continue to share. The monthly New Moon is a time to set intentions, plant seeds for new beginnings, and envision what you want to call into your life. The Full Moon offers reflection and release, helping you let go of what no longer serves you and embrace closure. These updates are here to help you navigate these potent times of the month with clarity and purpose – and they're one of my favorite offerings to share!
Since our last update, the Sun shifted from Scorpio to Sagittarius on November 22nd. I’m soooo excited and ready to embrace the optimistic, and uplifting energy that the Sun in Sagittarius brings. Every year, Scorpio season is a lot mentally for me, forcing introspection and reflection–just as it does collectively during this watery sign’s season. Scorpio is in my 6th house of routines, mental/physical health, and day-to-day activities. I’m walking away from the season with greater clarity on how to structure my days and weeks, set boundaries, and balance the many roles I navigate daily—mom, partner, astrologer, friend, employee, community member, and more—all while leaning into Scorpio’s lesson of releasing the need to control every outcome. Ew, yuck. It’s not easy, but it's necessary.
This week is ending with a New Moon in Sagittarius on Saturday, November 30. As we approach Saturday, you might notice the energy softening and slowing down. This New Moon serves as a reset for the next four weeks. Saturn, Pluto, and Mars' influence on Saturday's astrology may have you feeling both inspired to take action on your vision and weighed down by a setback. If it feels hard to take action, consider waiting until a few days after the New Moon to launch something new or make any major announcements. If possible, wait until Mercury is direct on December 15 for even better momentum.
Sagittarius inspires curiosity, exploration, and expansion. Sagittarius also reminds us to keep an open mind and re-evaluate our beliefs. We may see these themes amplify during the New Moon. It's a good time to take inventory on outdated ways of thinking or beliefs that no longer serve you. You could find yourself seeking new knowledge, finalizing travel plans, or being a bit outspoken about something you believe in.
Here are some questions for you to reflect on during the New Moon in Sagittarius:
What new adventures or opportunities do I want to invite into my life?
How can I expand my mindset to embrace new possibilities?
What beliefs or thought patterns no longer serve my growth?
Embrace the New Moon and this retrograde season by prioritizing rest, stillness, and intentionality.
Sending my support and love during this New Moon.
Best,
Tiffany
